Task 2: Technology

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk you about my favorite piece of technology; that one is my computer! A computer is like a box that let you to do different activities, like make a picture or a presentation for your work, etc. Also with a computer you can get access to internet, that is a service that gives you the posibility to look for information or music and also you can communicate to other people through email or msn!

I got my computer like 2 years ago, when my mother bought it for me. I was very happy with the gift, and I still very happy with it. The computer came in a brown box, I set up all the pieces for that the computer could work.

I use the computer mostly for do homework (like this one!) or when I want to communicate with my friends or family...also when I have nothing to do I listen to music through the windows media player from the computer. Recently a new way of comunication is on the internet, this one is Facebook, through it you can see the profiles of your friends, meet people you haven't seen years ago or even play with the diferent games that Facebook offers to the people.

I use the computer all the time, like 6 hours per day...it's like a vice: the first time you taste it you can't leave it. I remember the first time I saw a computer, it was on Nicolas' house, my cousin. He had the first computer I saw, It was very perfect for me, It had it all.

I like it because it gives you the possibility to do different things while you're sitting or doing another things in the house. For example, if I don't have a radio I can use the computer for listening to music. The computer have a lot of ways for be used, that is the caracteristic I like best, it's so fantastic that someone has the posibility to do a lot of things with just a box.

My life without a computer woudn't be so terrible, because I think that I would look for another activities to do or another way of entertaienment. I could read more books or get out to walk all the days...I just would miss the comunication with my friends...Oh, and especially the facilities that the computer gives you when you do a homework !!!
